Russia appreciates India’s ‘independent and balanced’ UNSC stand

India, China and the UAE were the only three countries which abstained from voting at the United Nations Security Council, as Russia used its veto power to block a proposed UNSC resolution against its ongoing invasion of Ukraine.

Wearing masks not mandatory in private cars in Delhi from Monday

Delhi government has lifted all Covid curbs on Friday including the night curfew. All schools have been asked to switch to offline classes starting from April 1. The fine for not wearing the mask in public places has been reduced from ₹2,000 to 500.

Jharkhand govt to bear travel expenses of its residents stranded in Ukraine

The Jharkhand government had on Friday issued helpline landline and Whatsapp numbers of the state control room for people from the state stranded in Ukraine amid a Russian invasion that began on Thursday.

AMU takes U-turn, says final decision on common entrance test still pending

The Ministry of Education has already announced that it will conduct a Central Universities Entrance Test (CUET) for admission to all undergraduate and postgraduate courses from academic session 2022-23. The computerised test will be conducted by the national testing agency (NTA) in 13 languages. The test is likely to be held in June-July.

J&K: 15 heroin packets smuggled from Pakistan recovered on LoC in Poonch
