Club-level resort accommodations and lounges offer some of the most luxurious amenities and perks within a resort. Forget country clubs: you’ll want to spend your well-earned dollars on these accommodations instead of on golf.
The Club Level at The Ritz-Carlton Maui, Kapalua is truly memorable. The top two floors are reserved only for Club Level rooms, suites and multi-bedroom accommodations, including the Royal Pacific Suite and The Ritz-Carlton Suite.
Everyone in this accommodation category receives a personal concierge and complimentary access to an oceanview club lounge with outdoor lanais, a premium bar and snacks.
Any Outrigger resort in Hawaii features Outrigger’s Voyager 47 Club Lounge, along with premium accommodations for Club Level guests. The lounge provides locally-inspired daily breakfasts and coffees, evening appetizers and cocktails with gorgeous views of the Pacific Ocean.
The Westin Maui Resort & Spa doesn’t offer just one or two floors of Club Level accommodations. It offers an entire tower. The Lanai at Hokupa’a Tower offers room and suite categories ranging from oceanfront to ocean view, as well as ones with larger lanais.
Every guest staying in the year-old Hokupa’a Tower will also have access to The Lanai, which offers daily breakfasts, chef demonstrations and tasting, a bar and the adults-only cocktail infinity pool. Cultural experiences like live music and lei-making are also held at The Lanai as an added benefit.
Moving from Hawaii to Mexico, two related resorts, in particular, combine the ultimate luxury with family-friendly accommodations. The Grand Palladium Vallarta Resort & Spa and the Grand Palladium Costa Mujeres Resort & Spa offer the Family Selection, a family-centric club-level program. Junior suites, loft suites and, at Grand Palladium Costa Mujeres Resorts & Spa, the Ambassador Suites, all offer incredible accommodations made for both adults and children.
The rooms are located within their own private buildings near the waterparks and pools, while guests in Family Selection accommodations receive priority booking in all restaurants, as well as welcome kits and 24-hour assistance and access to all the fun things the two resorts offer.
The Dreams Vista Cancun Golf & Spa Resort offers AMR Collection’s Preferred Club, but it’s even better at this resort in particular. The lounge is open for personalized check-ins and check-outs all day, as well as breakfast, snacks and desserts.
Personalized concierge service, added spa privileges, better in-room bath and mini-bar amenities are also offered to Preferred Club guests. The rooftop pool, though, is definitely the highlight of being a Preferred Club guest. With stunning views of the Mexican Caribbean coast, the resort definitely lives up to its name, vista.
Lastly, but certainly not least, is the Club VIVA at Viva Wyndham V Samaná Resort. Club VIVA accommodations are secluded bungalows surrounded by tranquil gardens. Their large spaces and mini-bar, nightly turndown service and 24-hour room service are definitely perks, but the best part is quite possibly the private plunge pool that each bungalow offers to its guests.
Other perks include priority reservations and seating at restaurants, a Club VIVA-only bar and discounts on a variety of on-site activities.
