A WOMAN has divided opinion on TikTok by revealing that her boyfriend brought his “entire gaming system” to the hospital when she was induced.
Amber took to the social media site to share a video from inside her hospital room, showing her other half fully engrossed in his video games console.
“My boyfriend brought his entire gaming system to the hospital during my 21 hour long induction,” she wrote over the clip, which she appeared to have filmed from her hospital bed.
After sharing the video, the comments section was quickly flooded with people insisting they wouldn’t have allowed him to bring the console to the hospital for such an important occasion.
“I would have threw some at him. Get off that game for this moments,” one person wrote.
“Why are some of y’all defending this?” someone else commented. “Why even bother showing up at that point? Shows his priorities.”
“HELL. NO.” a third added.
Another person agreed, writing: “Hell no, not I. I need you as a support, not to have you sit on the game the whole time or most of the time.
“It’s bonding time.”
While someone else wrote: “lol nah this my wife’s day fr I don’t care how nervous I am.
“She is 10x more nervous so I need to be there with her 24/7 unless she says otherwise.”
But others argued he was perfectly within his rights to bring the games console – especially if he had brought an extra controller for his pregnant girlfriend.
“I wouldn’t mind as long as he brought a 2nd controller,” one woman commented.
“So what’s he supposed to do for 21 hours straight?” someone else asked.
“y’all would get mad if he slept, if he did anything but act like a servant to y’all.”
“I told my husband to bring his Switch while we’re waiting,” another agreed.
“No sense in being a ball of nerves instead by sitting and waiting.”
While somebody else commented: “I don’t blame him! being induced and playing the waiting game for something to happen gets BORING!”
