Timothy Walter Ryan
Timothy Walter Ryan, 25, of Dunkirk, passed away Friday evening (Dec. 24, 2021) at Magee Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pa., surrounded by his loving family.
He was born Aug. 2, 1996, in Dunkirk, the son of Donald and Joanne (Hoisington) Ryan of Dunkirk.
He gave us all joy and love from day one. Timothy’s beautiful smile told the true story of his loving, caring, generous and happy personality. We were all so blessed to have Timothy in our lives. He touched so many hearts with his giving nature. He enjoyed several hobbies with his family and friends. He enjoyed participating in 1700’s Rendezvous with his younger brother, Jamison, and their dad. He also participated in Airsoft events with his brother and close friends. Their Airsoft platoon won first place several years in a row.
He was a Boy Scout, along with his brother with troop 267. At this young age, he grew out his hair to be donated to Locks For Love, for cancer patients. He playedh Hockey for 12 years in the NCCYHA Steelers league. Timothy was an avid lover of the Buffalo Bills and Sabres.He had a special love for his dog, Rwby and cat, Vader.
Growing up with sistter, Alanna and brother, Jamison, at the family owned Chadwick Bay Marina, he developed a love for the outdoors. They also enjoyed many family vacations with his siblings to Boston, Birmingham and Florida. Timothy enjoyed hosting and cooking for family gatherings. Family was most important to him. He was happiest when he was with family and friends.
A lifelong area resident, Timothy was a graduate of Fredonia High School, class of 2015. He continued his education at York Technical College in South Carolina, where hue earned his degree as a utility lineman. He was employed in this capacity by Consolidated Communications in Westfield.
Besides his parents, father, Donald J. Ryan and motherm Joanne M. (Hoisington) Ryan, he is survived by one sister, Alanna (Matt) Bohn of Lebanon, Ohio; one brother, Jamison Ryan of Dunkirk; his fiance, Destiny Paredes of Dunkirk; nephew, Ashton Bohn; two nieces, Ayva Bohn and Evalyn Bohn; uncle, Richard (Barb) Ryan of Erie, Pa,; and his aunt, Judy (Claude) Alevy of Plantation, Fla.; and several loving cousins.
He was taken from us much too soon leaving a void of emptiness and immense sadness.
Calling hours will be held Wednesday, Dec. 29, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the McGrawKowal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Thursday, Dec. 30, at 11 a. m. at the funeral home with a celebration of life. Luncheon to follow. Masks are required.
